Seville

Seville is the capital city of Andalusia in Spain. Seville has a population of approximately 700.000 people, and this amount puts Seville in the fourth position of the most populated cities in Spain.

Seville has a good road and rail transport networks. The seaport is the only river port in the Iberian Peninsula as the Guadalquivir River is navigable. It has an Airport with numerous national and international flights.

The historical centre of Seville is one of the most extensive and important in Europe and has numerous monuments, historical heritage and museums. The most important monuments that are World Heritage Sites are the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Royal Alcazars of Seville and the General Archive of the Indies.
