Lisbon is the capital city of Portugal and it is also the most populated city with more than 500.000 people. Lisbon is located on the mouth of the Tajo River
Apart from being a city for tourist, Lisbon is a city where many acts and events are celebrated, and every so often receive the visits to the meetings of the OTAN or of the European Union.
Lisbon divides into four quarters of which we can go walking through to see the generosities of this City. The Downtown Quarter is the city centre where you can find the most commercial area and some monuments like the Doña María II National Theatre, the Commerce Square and the Rossio Square. The Alfama Quarter, with its multitudes of Fado bars, is very peaceful and here you can see the Cathedral and Saint George Castle.
The Upper Quarter is an area of diversion, night entertaining and residences. The Belem Quarter is historical and has many places of interest for tourists like the Jeronimos Monastery or the Belem Tower.
