Cancún

Cancún, situated in the southeast of Mexico, has become one of the most touristically-exploited destinations in the last few years. Years ago, Cancún was a small fisherman's island surrounded by beaches and virgin jungles. Now, together with Acapulco they are the two most important holiday centres of Mexico.

The Cancún International Airport is the entrance door to the island and is the airport that receives the most travellers to Mexico. The Cancún public transport is divided into three different ways, the urban transport (buses), the transport for passengers and the taxis.

The city of Cancún has beautiful avenues that you along the like the Kukulcan Boulevard, Tulum Avenue that is the main street of the city centre, the Jose Lopez Portillo Avenue, the Coba Avenue and the Bonampak Avenue.

The beaches of Cancún are the main reason why the tourists come here to relax in this area that is bathed by the turquoise coloured waters of the Caribbean Sea. On the spectacular white sandy beaches you can enjoy a lot of activities and water sports.
